Our original site is located at 550 Cherry St SE and provides medical care, dental services, vision care and counseling services. It also houses the WIC program. Professionals provide caring and individualized health care to all individuals and all ages including pregnancy care. Special programs include: The Women's Health Network Breast and cervical cancer screening, vision care services and EPSDT screening. An outreach department provides case management for community resources and applications for MI Child and Healthy Kids programs. Bilingual staff is available on site for Spanish and Vietnamese speaking clients. A nurse triage system is in place twenty-four hours daily for urgent problems. On site mammography, X-ray and Laboratory services are also available.
The Women's Health Network is a cancer-screening program provided through the State of Michigan Public Health . Cherry Street offers this special program to all women between the ages of 40 and 65 who are uninsured and are in need of a pap smear, breast exam and mammography services. The program is offered at no charge for eligible women.
Vision care services are housed at this location, providing eye exams and eyeglasses. The eyeglasses program is funded through the Grand Rapids Lions Club. This program is made possible by volunteer ophthalmologists and Ferris State Optometry students. Most recently our program has a full time optometrist, Dr. Lillian Kalczinski. Located five blocks north of Spectrum-Butterworth campus, Belknap Health Center was built on the foundation of neighbors working together to better their community. A combined effort of volunteers of Belknap-Lookout Neighborhood Association, Cherry Street Health Services, Spectrum Health, Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services and Hope Network built the health center and the spirit of volunteerism remains strong today.

A school based health center provides health services to high school students. There are approximately 1000 students, 9-12 grade that attend this school, Cherry Street Health Services provides medical, dental and counseling services to the adolescents who attend Creston High School. Special programs on prevention, self esteem, relationships and other important topics are brought into the classroom as well as in peer meeting groups. Students may access care throughout the day on a walk in basis; no appointments are necessary. Students can volunteer, participate in programs or meet health care needs. Cherry Street encourages adolescents to learn more about the center and what it can do for them. One of the goals of placing school based programs in the school is to increase days in the classroom and decrease sick days. Cherry Street delivers a holistic approach to health care offering a special sensitivity to adolescents and their needs.

Our mission extends to all life cycles and this location addresses the needs of adults. The program has internal medicine specialists who deal with chronic illnesses and health care of adults. In addition to medical services, we have special programs devoted to diabetes and cardiovascular care. A registered dietician is available to address the dietary needs in chronic illness as well as diabetes education. A certified therapist is available for mental health needs in dealing with disease or depression. Specialized programs also include a pharmacy assistance program. We work closely with pharmaceutical companies that provide free or lower cost medications. We also partner with Ferris State University Pharmacology students who provide case management services working with Physicians in ensuring our patients have the most advanced, cost efficient and appropriate medications. Our partnering goes beyond the walls of the office in providing services designed for the chronically ill with special needs. Partners such as local food pantries provide special foods for conditions such as diabetes and food allergies. We work closely to ensure that our patients are eating the proper foods so that the highest level of health can be maintained. On site laboratory and radiology services provide convenience so that it is unnecessary to travel to other locations.

Cherry Street Health Services began collaborative efforts with the Salvation Army Booth Family Services in 1995. Though the Salvation Army has been servicing pregnant teens and families for over 120 years. Pregnant women have choice in how they receive care. Booth Family Services offers "Circle of Care", a group approach to services. Women participate by learning specific measures and progress in their own pregnancy such as weight and blood pressure readings. One on one care through the nurse midwife provides women with the needed individualized care and group settings for facilitated learning about pregnancy. Traveling School Health Program
The Medical and Dental components of the Traveling School Health Program are designed to keep children healthy and in school. Traveling teams provide medical services to elementary school students in 21 Grand Rapids Pubic Schools. Public School students receive yearly routine physicals and screening for vision, hearing, anemia, lead screening, and immunizations. This program is staffed by Registered Nurses perform the physical assessments. Certified Medical Assistants perform the hearing, vision, blood checks and immunizations.
The dental teams provide care in 40 elementary and middle schools in Grand Rapids, Cedar Springs, Wyoming and Kentwood. Dental exams, cleaning, sealants and x-rays are provided. Dentists with Dental Assistants on hand to assist with x-ray perform dental Exams. Dental Hygienists provide cleaning and sealants.
This program is partially funded by State and Federal Funds as well as local contribution from Spectrum Health-Community Benefits.

Westside Health Center is located at 669 Stocking St and serves the city's northwest community. A large following of Hispanic patients has prompted staffing to reflect the needs of the Latino community. Nearly all providers (Doctors and Dentists) nurses and support staff speak Spanish.
